Old School 94.5 FM also will be broadcasting live during the event.

WHAT: The Foundation will be hosting a “Taste of Paul Quinn” on the college’s campus featuring produce from the school’s community gardens and recipes using the herbs and vegetables.

WHERE: The event will take place in the Grand Lounge on the campus of Paul Quinn College, 3837 Simpson Stuart Road, Dallas, Texas.

WHEN: 4 p.m. – 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 13. Donations for the 2012 North Texas Giving Day will take place from 7 a.m. to Midnight.

WHY: The Tom Joyner Foundation’s (www.tomjoynerfoundation.org) mission since 1998 has been to assist Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The partnership with Paul Quinn is part of the Foundation’s on going efforts to ensure the future of HBCUs.
